Assumptions
- Rightcar’s kWh/100km doesn’t say whether it includes charging losses, so every EV running cost adds 10%.
- Charging “mostly at home overnight” is priced at 50% of the region’s price, the basis of retailers’ overnight EV plans.
- Running costs are energy and road user charges only: no servicing, tyres or insurance.
- A figure that doesn’t clear its minimum sample is left out.
